A very tough year for everybody. During this year Federico Gavioli,
a clever electronic designer specialized in the developing and production of audio
equipment and electronic musical instruments met the product designer Gino Pezzini; both estimators of vintage musical instruments, they decided to establish
REAL INSTRUMENTS firm.
The philosophy behind Real Instruments consists to build durable, reliable, easy to use, functional brand new musical equipment
by combining the best New Old Stock componentry of the past with the technology of the XXI century in order to provide musicians
and sound engineers of today ( and tomorrow ) with the chance to obtain THAT vintage, good ol' sound.
Nowadays the plugins technology
for most DAWs has come very close to perfection however, in order to get THAT sound typical of the 60's and
70's it is required to seek after vintage, fragile, very expensive and rare equipment.
Real Instruments devices are designed taking
inspiration from the circuits that were aboard on famous devices of the past, plus some modern features to correct the issues
shown on the original models; our devices are handbuilt in Italy, one by one by using new componentry
of excellent quality together with original New Old Stock componentry for the most critical sections of the circuitries.
Further, we at Real Instruments are nostalgic guys who are aware that like us there are so many folks that do not resist the
charm of REAL VU meters, REAL tubes, Real knobs and switches...in other words:
